A new BBQ-themed camping and boxing event has been posted for the weekend of May 17-19, 2013, near Greenwood, SC

When was the last time you attended a letterboxing event that you could also bring your horses and RIDE to the boxes? LOL

ASG is a competitive BBQer and will be smoking pork on site for us to enjoy at lunch. This is a really cool location that combines the primitive camping facilities accessible to horseback riders as well as a nicer campground just down the road at Parson's Mountain. It's going to be a lot of fun!

Parson's Mountain and the fire tower there is AWESOME! I'm definitely looking forward to great hiking and great food!!!

Our cub scout graduation is that Saturday. Maybe there will be something going on Sunday.

If you want to come on Sunday, we'll make sure to do something! At the least we can make sure you get some good hiking and all of the special clues for boxes we planted.

We have two special guests coming to the BBQ Bash that are actually flying in to see us! In honor of that dedication to our hobby we're going to have the SC Museum make it's annual appearance in May. For anyone who might have missed this at Paris Mountain last fall, it's a special event box designed to protect and showcase the artwork and event stamps from previous SC gatherings. We've added two Paris Mountain stamps since it's debut. If anyone out there has additional stamps carved for past events held in SC, we'd love to have them for the Museum!

One more reason to join us, along with a Plethora of Pigs!
