OK, so now that we know who Barney is marrying at the wedding where Ted meets The Mother, WHEN DO WE GET TO SEE THE MOTHER?!?!?! Since they haven't yet confirmed that this is the final season, the jury is out as to whether or not we'll meet the actual mother this season.

I can't wait to know as well. But really that part of the show is one of my least favorite parts. I love Lily and Marshall the most and always want to know what they are up to. :)

I think the writers have done a great job keeping everything relevant, intertwined, and not losing the suspense of who the mother is and how exactly they meet. However, I've always known that the reveal will come at the end of the show - once Ted meets her (or maybe once they show the wedding), the title becomes irrelevant.

I hope the baby doesn't take over the show. "Mad About You" made that mistake.

Watch yesterdays show The Talk, the main guy was on there, forget his name, Patrick? Anyway, he talked of this very thing on there, about how it will probbaly be on the very last show that they bring the Mom out and then everyone knows who she is. He said a lot more but don't recall it all. Give it a watch. I don't watch the show but have caught a few previews and such...I like that kid's acting...I'm just not a big sitcom watcher...

I am not a follower though I do catch the "occasional" show. I swore I saw an episode where they did show who she was . . . he found on her the street corner, in a rain storm, holding an umbrella . . . and she was the girl from Scrubs.
