they are all spoken for. Will be downsizing further down the line. (I'm not quitting, just downsizing my collection to make it manageable and to share the artistry.)

While I was grocery shopping yesterday, I found out via loud speaker promoting buying postage that the postal rates are going up in January. Despite hearing the message at least 10x, I fail to remember the date. I think it was around the 23rd.

I was looking at the package pricing wondering who in the world did this. 1-4 oz goes up .05, 8 oz goes up .41-wow, but 9 oz only goes up .02? Things that make you want to go hmmmm.

Think I'll be using the flats from now on.

The price of bubble mailers went up to $3.00 minimum for 1 - 4 oz. last year. So I was almost expecting the other shoe to drop and another price increase for First Class letters and large flat envelopes.

Even with the increase, a large flat document envelope will soon cost $1.00 up to 1 oz. (2 cent increase) Over 1 oz. to 2 oz. will cost 21 cents additional. An average size LTC trackers (15 cards approximately) often tips the postage scale just over 2 oz. so it would cost $1.42 to mail a large flat document envelope. Therefore, for 2018, three Forever stamps ($1.50) will be more than sufficient, and still half the price of a bubble mailer.

However, it is always best to respect the posted wishes of the host, or ask before mailing, because it is more work for the host to remove and insert cards into a binder page.

I changed from a "themed" tracker to a "potpourri" since having seasonal subject matter is NOT required any longer.

So, what do you do when you lose then re-find some LTCs?

I had some LTCs about half done. I set them aside for a few days (while I was sick). Then when I came back I couldn't find the LTCs that were colored in. I looked for them for about two hours then gave up. :-( Once I'd stamped replacements I immediately found the one's I'd already colored. :-) Now I have some extras.

I guess that I'll just save the extras for later.

At least I hadn't numbered them.

I think I'd about die. I don't know if I have ever had to redo cards. It definitely wouldn't be something I would want to do. I don't think I've ever remade cards that were lost in the mail either. Normally when I'm done with the set I don't want to look at it for a while.

That's never happened to me, fortunately, probably because I only work in LTCs in my kitchen.

My binders are overflowing! I need to downsize my LTC collection.

And just because I'm parting with it doesn't mean I didn't enjoy it. I LOVE and ADMIRE and EXPLORE all the cards I receive. Just passing on the artistry and fun with hopes that they will inspire you as they have inspired me...

My feelings exactly, but unlike you, aMAZEing adventure frog, I'm no longer active in LTCs.

I'd like to know what the general concensus is about giving away LTCs that were part of trades, swaps and trackers from 9 years ago. I am torn between leaving my 3 thick binders sitting on the shelf vs passing them on to others who would also enjoy them. They are all wonderful pieces of artwork that I greatly enjoyed receiving, but I'm not doing them any justice by allowing them to sit unopened (well, maybe once a year I do look through them!) yet I don't want to hurt any of the donors' feelings by not keeping them...
Thoughts please.....
