FF, no harm done. I just wanted to help prevent any confusion.

trackers with less rules and more postage= simpler and safer.

Totally agree with this. I host often and always try to keep my tracker descriptions as simple as possible because I want people to: 1)join! and 2) read the whole thing, follow directions and ENJOY the swap!

He served his country most of his life; starting at age ten when he accompanied his father in a diplomatic mission to Great Britain and ending 70 years later serving as a US Congressman. It is arguable that he was the most dedicated public servant in the history of this country. He died this week in 1846.

For the rest of the story, see this US History Weekly by Spencer McBride.

Submitted for your consideration,

if we can ever find Spring here in NY

We will, we will, we will. Is that the series I think it is? I am looking forward to doing it. Yea!

I am so glad your foot is pretty much back to normal. Surgery is never fun, especially when it puts you in a chair and makes it so hard to get around. Good to know you are back on the trails.

Also every winter I always end up with TONS of stamps that I need to plant. I have my work cut out for me for the rest of the year.

Maybe enough that you could plant some in southeastern PA or northern DE, huh? :)

If you didn't have the "All Boards" feature, how would we choose boards to add?

Right now, you can pick from all boards, favorite boards, or all boards in groups that you've joined. You can also search for boards with specific words in the name. Right now, it defaults to show all of the boards, but it seems like people usually use that page to look for a board that's already among their favorites, and it doesn't seem unreasonable to have it default to that view. People can still switch to all boards if they want that, though.

Just a dumb idea, but it'd be interesting to see someone try it.

I couldn't believe you'd post something like that! Surely you knew that would immediately make you a target! =)

Even better, there will likely be a dozen or more cooties whose sole purpose in life will be to HUNT YOU DOWN.

Talk about stepping into it! On the other hand, I've never heard of you ever going to a letterboxing gathering. Might be hard to infect you with cooties if nobody can find you.... =)

It seems to me, where I live, it depends on which person I see at the post office, how much im going to be charged. Two out of the 3 people that work there only charge me 1.62 for any LTC package i have sent, where the third woman charges me no less then 2.68 :/

flat rate are cheaper

Ugh. Another mistyping by me. I meant Flat envelope rates vs parcel sized rates...

Not Flat Rate as in those pre-set priced packages, so no difference in labeling, just the size. One being those thin envelopes are FLAT, and the bubble envelopes are considered Parcel sized, especially if they are over 3/4 inch thick. I know often you can get away with them being considered envelopes, but not always, and I think this is where people are getting those "insufficient postage" issues.

I re-typed this post and still goofed it up. Time for bed!
