Question: Is the theme of anyone else's page changing every time you refresh or navigate to another part of the site? Its not that I mind celebrating Christmas, Mexico's indepenance, tomatoes, the ocean, and new years all in the same day, its more that I don't think its supposed to be happening... then again it was my page that decided to jump ahead a day for a random week last month so I may the only one... :)

One of my all time favorite signs, found in the wilds of VA, i believe:

"burrls, gardnin tools. Antique tables made daily"

i want to know how they got the second sentence completely right, if wrong.

toss a Pop-Tart in there at the same time

i think you missed this part of the process: "350* for 45 min . . . then return it to the oven for another 45 min. . ."

Poptart + 350 at 90 min = cinders. It will not smell like you've been behaving. it will smell like you need the Fire Dept.

the place to post your survey is on the Letterbox Chatter board. Over here on Miscellaneous Oddities, not many people are going to find it.

we are a pretty friendly bunch and quite a few people will probably take your survey (well designed, by the way), but not if it's not where people can see it.

there's a college kid over on the Miscellaneous Oddities board who has to collect some data on a hobby. He's designed a pretty good and most notably, very quick little survey on our hobby. Go be a love and take the survey.

don't think it's a joke. could be, but it looks pretty legit. survey is pretty well designed.

I'd also add The Harp Letterbox to that list - great Irish pub food and drink, and another awesome box by Chill E.

Hey, I'm left-handed, and I like to think I can write well!

The most frequent error I see is when people add an apostrophe to their last name or any noun, when referring to a plural. I think this is sometimes due to spell check, but still irks me.

I have also run into the constant run on sentences and lack of punctuation that make clues ridiculous.
Downton Abbey - sucked in!

Last weekend our cable company had a "watchathon" weekend. They showed entire series of some of the most popular shows. I had never seen Downton Abbey, but I'd heard LOTS about it, so I decided to check out an episode. The result: I watched more episodes over the weekend than I can admit in public. I am totally hooked, and I was one episode short of finishing season 1 AND season 2 in two days. If it weren't for going to Easter dinner - I'd have finished them all! I know, I should have been out letterboxing, but not all adidctions are good for you. Now I understand what all the fuss was about, and am looking forward to watching season 3.

Haha! I did do that on accident, but I keep it now because I think it's funny. You can always pretend I'm just mysterious. Hosmer's...what? ;)

I've never been to her house!!

Oh, wow, I must be in denial. I meant to say, I've EVEN been to her house!!

With PTs I often focus on the ones more at local events since I can get the 'boxes any time. If I'm out of town, I may not bother with PTs at all. But that's the even funnier thing since I've solved all of the ones Tigs has and keep meaning to get them but I think the blasted woman distracts me with doing stuff or something!!

That's what happened to me and it has been so worth the ride! Enjoy Season 3 then hold your breath waiting for Season 4 to begin in Jan 14!
So well written and it's set in such a great period.

When we brushed up against a bush, we'd get a puff of pollen powder. Definitely sniffle season.
Thanks, Beardog, for a great event! We had a great time finishing up Spring Grove! Couldn't have had better weather! We were done with an hour to spare. Sis and I drove around spotting good places to plant. I'll get 'Smittie' listed today.

My grandfather was there. He was a Stars & Stripes photographer, embedded in a unit, and earned a Bronze Star for that battle. We have a HUGE scrapbook of his news clippings & photos of the island--some pretty gruesome. I was fascinated as a child, and still am--but I never grew up with a romanticized view of war!

That's it!!! The woman is relentless!! We didn't even stop to have lunch when we were hiking in Asheville! No wonder I never get a chance to get her PTs!!

I may need to flatten her tires at this next event and sit in the car waiting for them...

So glad we were able to get out on the Eno Trails and able to do some maintenance, a lot of the Disney boxes are in dire need of HELP. This one was looking a little peaked.

If anyone is planning on boxing there please bring some supplies and rescue some boxes. We did not walk all the trails there so there are still lots of boxes that have not been checked on in quite awhile.

It is such a treat to find these boxes because so many of the stamps were send in by boxers from all over.

You have a sugar pie to make for this weekend's event!!

It's good to see the Mama Wolf has her priorities in order.....

I don't think the IRISH SCONES are happening ..... unless someone else does them either....
I just have too much to do to finish up last minute stuff that can't be done until late Friday or early Saturday morning.
