Yes....just think of all the work they do to feed our addiction...! I usually add a different LTC, I have a personal traveler LTC that I like to share...I also try to sneak a quisp under or in the address label ( which is sometimes an envelope) I draw an arrow pointing to the label as a clue!

Prior to LTCs I did PLBs. I have never sent anything extra for the host. I just do what I'm supposed to -- timely and correct postage. I figure if everyone did that, the perk to being the host is not having the out of pocket expense of mailing their own package.

Can't count it as a find if there is no stamp amongst all that gold!

I found one of my missing postals (this one was lost by me - not the post office) So I will be repackaging it in the next few days and sending it packing.

Somebody says they found it but I don't believe them. lol

Nothing new in terms of clues as far as I can see, just the poem again.

I am sure there are many others out here that are missing postals. I know I have over 50 MIA. I know it happens and I don't get to worries about this, but about a week ago a friend of mine (who lives where I use to work and live) called to tell me that she has an envelope addressed to S and D with red PO marks all over it along with a ridiculous amount of tape. This can only be a postal of some kind. I have no idea what it is and I won't be up to get it til next Wed. So I am excited.

That being said I have contacted one of my previous postal buddies and asked if they would help me jump in slowly again. Graciously I got a yes answer. So my intentions (hopefully they work) is to send out one of images on my blog along with LTCs to go long with it, but to keep the surprise going to add a bonus stamp.

So this will not be listed until I am mailing it because I am not steady enough to make sure I follow through quickly.

I didn't know it either, until I hosted a swap myself and a few people sent me quisps or extra cards, sometimes with a little sticky note that said "thanks for hosting." I thought that was nice, so I try to do that most of the time. People always seem to like getting a little extra surprise.

As other people have said, though, when I'm hosting a swap, the best gift a participant can give me is to send me their correctly taped package on time, with adequate postage/return postage! A quisp or extra card is nice, but it's the other stuff that matters. :^)

Yes they do wear, especially those with gold, copper or black plating. It gives them character! I carry a few and they are showing wear but how it goes when your carry around the little treasures!
