Since you mentioned bacon, I must share a holiday appetizer my brother made. I wasn't there to sample it, but another brother said it was "to die for."

This is what I heard ... take club crackers (those buttery types) sprinkle parmesan cheese on top of them. Tightly wrap them in bacon. Cook on very low oven heat for several hours. Eat. I think they can also be frozen and reheated and eaten later. I'll see if I can find the specifics if there is any interest.

I'm back and here is the link.

If a box is in need of repair, then repair it.

If you think a box is missing, log an attempt and leave a comment for future finders.

Just because someone has logged in does not mean they maintain their boxes. Send them a polite message, but if it gets no response, don't worry about it. Just care for boxes you find and leave comments on ones you don't.

Just because someone has NOT logged in does not mean they are NOT maintaining their boxes. Send them a message and it may forward to an email they DO check. Again, if it gets no response, don't worry about it. Just care for boxes you find and leave comments on ones you don't.

Just because a box is archived on LbNA or retired on AQ does not mean it isn't there. Don't get me started.

Yes, I won't be encouraging my teens to read it either. Beyond the language, the subject matter is really rough sometimes...

Glad I'm an adult and got to read it!

I didn't know what kennel cough was so I wiki'd it. The symptoms are retching, sneezing, snorting, gagging, and vomiting which my pug displays every day! Cuz, not only does he have a smushed snout but he's also a hoover vacuum. So, LOL! How would I ever know?

Thanks! Good to know, I was hoping to map an entire state and then go after the area with the highest concentration. Using it as a way to plan a vacation/road trip!

You can still have it open but require those items in your rules. If someone doesn't comply you can always drop them from the ring. It all depends on what you want from your ring. The standing rule is always "your ring, your rules".

May the red point on your compass always point North. May your printed clues never run in the rain. May your clues be always accurate. May you know your right from your left. May your trails be mostly root and rock free. May your spidery box sense be on. May the force be with you. May your boxes be they F's or P's be unmuggaled. Herds to a happy boxing year for all. Maybe this year. I'll realize my goal of finding a box every month. And maybe I'll hit the F 500 board

Peace
