For those of you that may have missed it. The House of Horrors was made up of the scariest things letterboxers could think of.

TOOOOO FUNNY !!! Especially the stuck in the bathroom part.
(Probably a good time to confess that I tried to PULL the door open to get out of the port a potty the other day. Figured it out just short of yelling for help.)

I cannot believe I missed BEES !!!

Morelli looks OK to me--but Grandma Mazer is waaay too young and Ranger needs to be a WHOLE LOT hotter! Plus, in my head, Lula looks a whole lot like Queen Latifah, so I guess that's what I was expecting. Well, we'll see.

weather is so bizarre. there is nary a snowflake on the ground up here in the northern Northlands. It is colder than the witch's proverbial, but no snow. . . which means, of course, i can still box. . .

Didn't realize the arm of winter hit that far "south"! Prayers and thoughts to PA as well

Thanks, I will always welcome prayer on our behalf! Good news is I think we personally have our well problems in hand. We didn't have much pressure, but did have water last night. We think we need to add air to a tank and that should be it for us *crossing fingers, that is all it will take*. I have co-workers who were told that power would not have power until Friday and there phone service was scheduled to be looked at Nov. 9th! We are among the lucky who only had a few days of inconvenience. Still praying for the rest who are waiting for the security of electric.

Here is another explanation for placing stones on a grave which I found on another web site:
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Sometime during the Turkish occupation of Israel, on a Shabbat, an Arab was murdered in Jerusalem. Quickly, the rumor spread that he was killed by a Jew, and an immediate expulsion order was declared. The Jews of Jerusalem had to pick themselves up and leave or be killed. A noted kabbalist (mystic) came upon the scene of the crime, which was crowded with Arab onlookers. Even though it was Shabbat, the kabbalist wrote one of G-d's names on a piece of paper and placed it upon the body of the dead man. The dead man rose and pointed to one of the Arabs standing in the crowd who became violently afraid and admitted that he had done the killing. The expulsion order was rescinded.
Shortly afterwards the kabbalist, who was an elderly man, approached the chevra kadisha (burial society) and asked that his tombstone be pelted with stones after his death because he had written during Shabbat. He understood that due to the danger to life he had been permitted to desecrate the Shabbat, but he felt that some form of repentance was in order nevertheless. Stoning his grave would symbolize the stoning penalty meted out to Shabbat desecraters. At first the chevra kadisha refused because of the implied dishonor the stoning would represent to so righteous a Jew, but the kabbalist persisted. Finally, they agreed to place stones on his grave, but only if they would institute the custom that all graves would have stones placed on them in the future. If stones were place on everyone's grave, it would not be a dishonor to the kabbalist. From then on, stones were placed on the graves of all Jews buried in Jerusalem, and from Jerusalem the custom spread, and today Jews all over the world place stones on tombstones when visiting a grave.
This may not be the actual source of the custom, but it's an interesting story."

I agree about both Grandma and Ranger. I think Sheri Sheppard works ok for Lula. And am undecided about Morelli. Plus I also agree that Katherine should have a much stronger Jersey accent. I hope it works better when watching the whole thing.

Clue Tracker is an app for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch devices. It helps you find, save, and organize clues for letterboxes found on LbNA and Atlas Quest. Find more here: http://cluetracker.pearlcrescent.com/

As Works4Us mentioned, we just released an update to Clue Tracker. The new version lets you record finds within the app (if you are logged in). Other new features include:
• Universal app (take full advantage of your iPad).
• Refresh letterbox information.
• Improved box details view and clue display.

If you see any problems, please email me or TrailMark so we can fix them.
Enjoy!

That too much real black licorice lowers your potassium levels and can mess with your heart rhythms.
