Well, when I saw this thread I was hoping to discover some good suggestions. Looks like nobody responded. Chill E, did you find some good boxes while you were in PDX?

I just went on my first ever letterboxing adventure today, and I'm hooked. I'm in Portland for a couple more weeks, so I'm hoping I can add some cool stamps to my book. From what I can tell, there are a bunch of Simpsons characters around Portland, but there are so many to choose from I don't know where to start. What would you recommend?

I didn't get as many planted as I wished, but I did get a few and I have a stash of stamps ready when I have a few spare moments

You did good; I wasn't able to plant any although I also have a stash of stamps. I had a lot going on, with a new job (mentally and physically exhausted) and my daughter rolled and totaled her car (thankfully she wasn't badly hurt and my grandson was not in the car) and now has no transportation sooo guess who her mode of transportation is? Hopefully I will be able to get out to hunt and plant before the weather gets too bad. :(

This is the event listing, sort of:

http://www.atlasquest.com/showinfo.html?gEventId=1970

It the ultimate boxing Anniversary event. But you actually will have to sign up on the Live and Breathe website once they start taking reservations. There is a cost associated with it - so some folks are planning in advance so they can afford to go to it.

The first things I down loaded when I got mine were the complete works of Agatha Christie and Mark Twain. I felt like such a brainiac. The first thing I downloaded and actually read? Breaking Dawn. So much for culturing up...

I downloaded a library book last week. Just so you know, you have to use the Wi-Fi. I was using 3G and it wouldn't work. It took the tech people almost a half hour to figure out what the problem was! Once I used the Wi-Fi, it downloaded with no problem. Plus, our library website has a how-to video on using it. Very easy.

Thanks for the advise. I travel there annually for business and this is my second trip as a letterboxer. I got a few last time and with limited time I love to hear which ones were your favorite. One of these years I will rent a car and stay an extra day to get off the strip. I would love to get out and try a few hikes. Thanks again!

Anyone else having this problem? Mine are set to run every four hours, but according to AQ, they haven't run since 9/29 at 7:23pm and 7:33pm. I know a ton of boxes were planted in Georgia yesterday, but I haven't gotten notification of any of them.

Hello all! We just got back from an awesome trip to the Eastern Shore of Maryland! We weren't able to do as much boxing as we had hoped, but are hoping to get back soon! We were able to plant several boxes in Dorchester County! Couldn't look for the 2 boxes that were in Dorchester because Blackwater was closed for construction. Oh well, as i said, hoping to get back there before Christmas.
Hope everyone enjoys the boxes we planted!
Happy hunting!

I got a C, C, D, F and got an overall survival ranking of a Z+. Papa Wolf had a B, C, D, F and got the same Z+.

So something's weird with the overall average! Of course, there is no Z+...

I thought the questions were really funny though-- asking about your clothing and hair (Papa Wolf was very pleased that "bald" was the best answer), how good you were at sacrificing others, your knowledge with weapons, and zombie anatomy.

I mean I had never really thought about if a zombie's respiratory system functions! I just assumed that it didn't, but the answer does totally make sense as to it's function!

But I disagree with zombie's eating animals. Has anyone ever saw a zombie eating anything other than humans?? I don't recall seeing any evidence of this.
