So I finally carved a new sig stamp (after almost 5 years of using the same negative image eraser). Its a sunflower and I'm debating on how, or if, I should carve out the seeds in the flower. My son looks at it and says well, you just have to carve the spiral lines, you know, like Fibonacci... I had to look it up on the internet. Smarty pants - what are they teaching kids these days? He's still 10!

I've been to one or two gatherings, but it's been many years. They're not really my cup of tea.

Oh sure ~ lunch with someone else! But you can't even make time for me living, just half an hour from What Cheer!

If we had gone letterboxing as you suggested, I'm sure we wouldn't have found the box, anyway. They seem to burrow deep into the ground when I approach. If you look at my F-count, you'll see what I mean.

That Life Is Good franchise obviously hasn't met me.

Time to make the gruel...

Yesterday was another surprise when I received a little token in the mail from Buzzkill. Then this morning I had a hoot of a conversation with said Buzzkill! With laughter on my lips

Wait, you didn't have tears in your eyes after our conversation? Apparently I have failed in my mission to spread gloom throughout the land. I guess I'll have to try harder next time.

If you are just wanting the maps for AQ related use, the trip planner will work. I believe there are already some scenic, historic routes available. Do you have a list you would like to see mapped?

I missed all of the earlier discussion but my crew all have different phones and devices....we use the i-go tips so I can use the same charger, just change the tips....although....we are usually trying to charge at the same time so....I did buy one of those multi unit chargers so we can plug in 3 things at once into my console.....

I'm planning to plant a few individual LBs in a Michigan art park (not as a series). I'd like letterbox "artists" to carve a stamp based on the title of the sculpture (without seeing the sculpture) and I'll plant the LB nearby. Then finders will get to see 2 pieces of art, most likely different, based on the same name. If interested and willing, AQmail me. I'll send you a list of the sculpture titles and you can choose which one inspires you to carve. I'm hoping to plant these sometime between May and July.

Thanks for considering this; since the sculptures are created by different artists I thought it would only be appropriate for the stamps also to be created by different artists.

So glad to hear things are going so well for you. A few months ago I got a glimpse of a stamp you were working on as part of a series. Will definitely be over that way when you get to planting it.

I'm thinking of heading out to the Chestnut Street entrance sometime in the near future (if I can get someone to take care of Noel). I just got a pair of spikes (they're for Men's boots though, so I hope they fit me... I take a Men's 9 in Keens, but an extra wide 9 in women's shoes). They're for sizes 8-14 in men sizes. Hope they fit!

Anyway, I'm hoping to do some of the trails from the Chestnut Street entrance that don't have any boxes on them (or that I need anyway). I'm thinking about going on Violet trail from the entrance to red square, then go down to Mansion Road, backtrack up Red Square to green, the backtrack on Red Square to blue and then down blue to the car.

That way when I come up next, Ill try to park at the southern end of Red Square, go all the way up to Green and down green to Chestnut, then up Yellow or Orange from Chestnut Street, and back to Red Square. I will do this once the snow is gone, as I need quite a few boxes in this section.

Anyone know what the terrain for blue is East of Red Square? I don't think I've ever hiked that section of trail.

Thoughts?
Pam

Functioning opera house, defunct clay tile factory, rather hilly, in the midst of the cornfields, settled by Welsh coal miners, though the mines in Iowa were mostly small and are now mostly closed. It's not on the main highway so I haven't driven through in years. There is probably a bar where you can get a meal, and a gas station, some 100+ year old small houses and a couple of blocks of brick commercial buildings! also old. If you're a native, it is probably vibrant.

It looks like someone went in and cleaned it up by removing it now. The nice thing about Wiki is that ANYONE can edit it. Yep, even you. :)
I found a link to a video showing how to do it and added that.

And you can see a history of who did edits by clicking Archive. So if you wanted to contact the person that originally put the link in for more info, you now know who that is too.
