Does the 'day of many hats' theme become invisible to those who might be using a custom theme..Does the 'day of many hats' theme become invisible to those who might be using a custom theme..

Yes. The "day of many hats" is a theme, and custom themes override the AQ themes of the day. Someone may mention it on the AQ Board, but you're quite likely to miss the day if you have a non-rotating theme.

We've been boxing since August and have used stamps we happened to have at home and one that was purchased. I'm still working on a trail stamp concept and we haven't tried carving anything yet!

I am absolutely flabbergasted at how many people dropped me an e-mail and left comments on THIS POST. Seems a LOT of us are leading parallel hair lives. I'd certainly welcome additional comments on products that have worked for all of you!

Scouttrekie asked me to bring my Sweet Things box with me. The idea is to add pieces to the box in order to get to stamp the whole box -- So carve a little sweet something for the box -- And bring your markers to dinner!

I am also bringing some of my former postals -- how should I list them...as PT's?

Well, that depends. Are they going to be tabletop boxes that people can grab and stamp into (or, alternatively, HIPS boxes) whether you are right there or not? Or will they need to find you and ask for them?

If the first, list them as event boxes. If the second, then they are PTs. Your choice--either way is good!

I just received an email saying that LocknLockplace.com will no longer be selling online. If you need LocknLocks you will have to go to an outside vendor ie: amazon. If you have any Gift cert. or coupons use them now. Did anyone else get the email.

Just to be clear, the bakeries print on the paper with edible inks. So you'll need them to do the printing.

I know this seems intuitive, but I don't want to be held responsible for food poisoning :P

she didn't want to ruffle the feathers of the new librarian

I'm just surprised that's the reason, since it's been gone for 2 1/2 years! Seems like the 'new' wore off that librarian a long time ago, haha! Good for you for waiting it out and getting the box replanted.

The new librarian let me return the box to the shelves

Is it back on the shelves already? The status still says unavailable.

Just wanted to post a public thank you for a great idea.

WT was part of my Use Yer Scraps! swap, and when I received her package I was agog. She had gone to the trouble to cover the envelope with gorgeous paper, do fancy stuff on the address labels, and just generally create an amazing package. I was inspired, and I've been trying to do that for most of the trackers I'm in. It is SO MUCH FUN. I'm sending off a holiday envelope now.

Thanks, wickedly tangled, for taking it up a notch!
