I have been new to embossing only a short while. I have been applying powder to one card and heating it. Is there some reason to powder all cards then heating all cards?
I use a short step ladder for a drying rack. It is actually an antique library ladder chair.

It automatically set to private you have to change it to public before you save / send the comments. I forget half the time and am to lazy to retype them. Plus I'll never remember all my comments.

Absolutely a great start!! A healthy weight loss, likely to be maintained is 1/2 to 2 pounds per week.

Be proud of your accomplishments this past week!

I seem to remember there are a lot of paths in England that cross private property but are accessable to the public.

There are. But rather than just being gentlemen's agreements that can be changed on a whim (which happens in the US a lot), they have various laws that designate footpaths that are ALWAYS open to the public plus the "right to roam" off those paths as long as you are not causing damage or interfering with livestock, game and/or farming.

The US is all about "it is my land, no trespassing" while over there it is pretty much the exact opposite.

Try making a large number at once. You'll learn some new things, even if you are learning from your own mistakes.

Actually, I *have* made 50 cards--in one sitting--for a swap before (well, I think I made 36 for the swap and then extras for individual trades). I'm glad I did it, but I also learned that for me, making that many cards turns something fun into drudgery. That's why I now stick to smaller swaps! :^)

Aww,I just threw some toothbrushes out last week that would have been perfect for this type of scrubbing job. Thanks for the proof that we need something more to carry in our packs.

Off to locate a toothbrush and to do a google map search!

And how are we on this dreary morning? HEY at least it isn't snowing today, well in Chattanooga anyway. What's up with you folks? Me? Oh, well I am embarking on a new item of curiosity today. A letterbook. Where the heck is my Modge-Podge. I left it here somewhere. I saw it not that long ago and now that I need it, is no where. That's it. I need a craft room.

I'm going back to school. It's official. ONline program all the way. I can take the laptop to the beach if I want and take tests with my toes in the sand. The webcam will keep me straight. I wonder if the Big Brother watching me would mind if I enjoyed a Corona or local craft brew while taking a test beach-side. Hmm. I'll ask that after they okay my class choice. hehe Office/craft room and hide the guest bed in a Murphy bed frame. Have any of you done that? I would OF COURSE have to include a letterbox within the Murphy bed structure somewhere...

BUBS!!! it's YOU!!! you're not DEAD!!!

we were thinking about having a gathering of micro boxes at a local mall, cuz of the bad weather. kind of a spontaneous meet, where people bring their little carves and micro boxes. Meet at the local mall, with index cards. Take said index cards, go hide boxes, write out clues. Meet back at the food court, exchange cards. Go find boxes (you have 15 min, Secret Sleuth Agents). Stamp in on backs of cards as logbooks. Come back to food court, do it again until everyone has all the microboxes. Go out to dinner.

There were some objections, as malls have cameras, and there were some in the discussion who were of the opinion that we were all going to get arrested, or that a mall was a place of business and it was Not OK to do this. Anyway, the whole idea never got off the ground.

On the other hand, there's always the Rockingham Mall in NH, which is much bigger. . .

I would agree with the ACRES land trust spots too, but since you said you might have to do boxing at night, I overlooked them. I hope to cover Fort Wayne this spring and summer and get the boxes that have been done in the past 4 years. I think Johnny Appleseed was the last one I found and that's been quite a while ago.

What do you carry and what do you bring LBing?

I am only a year into LBing and already my "pack" is not adequate to hold all that I want to bring on the trails - let alone all I should probably bring but don't know to bring yet...
I am sure many people have a "light" pack and a "heavy" pack depending on the kind of trail they are trekking
So I ask you fellow LBers - what do you carry with you and in what kind of bag/pack both for "light" treks and "heavy" treks?
Do you have any odd items (like the tooth brush Trailhead Tessie wrote about Msg: 673129)?

I have only done light treks (2-3 hours) in Florida and I use a medium size purse with: 6 ink pads, SS (sig stamp), log book, extra zips, wet wipes, extra log book (in case one needs replaced), compass, a bottled water and sometimes bugspray (dang misquotes). I also usually bring 2 or 3 other LB clues that are nearby just in case.

What do you bring?

Definitely bring supplies to maintain the boxes you find, especially if you plan on finding some older series. High quality baggies are number one, preferably a pint sized freezer bag. If the baggie in a box has holes or isn't closing properly, replace it. Paper towels for wiping out boxes. If you can, a spare logbook.

Dont worry! It gets wrapped up.... pretty much. I like how the season ended. It was different than I expected.

I read an interview about the changes and I believe what the creator (can't remember his name at this second) said was that the shooting schedule is much like a movie so he's hoping to get some film stars who have always wanted to dabble in television on the show since their commitment would only be for one 13 or so episode season. It sounds like each season (for however long the show lasts) will have a different underlying theme. But yeah he said that it will take place in a different part of America in a different house. He did say something about possibly keeping a few characters but with it taking place somewhere else I'm not sure how it will be done.
