Two Moons letterbox

I pulled my Two Moons letterbox in Pittsburg, NH. It was around the corner from my in-laws house. My mother in law passed away recently and the house is being sold. I plan to replant it in RI in the spring.

Thanks to all who found it.

Thank you to Clue Crew and Merry Moose. My mother, Birding Granny, and I have been out the last three weekends gathering up all those new plants. With warmer temps next week, we may get one more trip before she heads south.

I check on this box recently and was surprised to find it still there! It's in a very public place. :-)

make someone smile? do you want to give someone a memory to last a lifetime? well, here is your chance! being a teenager is difficult. being a special needs teenager is beyond difficult. high schools all over the country are about to celebrate a teenagers biggest accomplishment, graduating from 12 long years of education. for some this is a time of celebration, for parties with friends. for others it is one of the loneliest times they will ever experience. we have in our community one such teenager. let us pull together to make this an event of a lifetime, a good fun memory for him. a semi drive-by stop and say good job, congratulations event. yes, it is listed under events. presents are not required or necessary but if you wish to then send me a pm. if you simply cannot attend but would like to send a card for the occasion send me a pm.
there will be an event box but at this time there are no plans for other boxes to be planted. as the event itself is only 2 hours long and/or you can just pop in you can make plans to find as many of the letterboxes in concord or the nearby towns as your heart desires.
come make someone smile!

a couple of weeks back i found a new hampshire mystery box.
a very easy solve.
what is surprising about this mystery box is that it was planted in 2010 and only had 1 find in that year and 2 groups finds in 2011. i know i am horrible at math but i do believe that is 10 years.
what is even more surprising is that the planter has not logged in since 2011. it is an urban box. due to the location (which i slightly changed) it was dang near inaccessible. but yet it was labeled "average".

I'm kinda low key lately. Haven't had the funds to do any boxing or caching in the last 9 months or so but hubby changed jobs and he is truck driving for covenant now so maybe able to have gas money to do fun things again. Have 2 freshmen in college also and one still in 6th grade.

Remembering Lighting the Way

Good morning,
I am writing this morning with sad news that a dear friend has passed away.
“Lighting the Way” (Roz) passed away last Friday. She went home to be with the Lord after a long, courageous battle with cancer.
She hadn’t letterboxed in a while, but was once a part of this community.
She created beautiful stamps, made clever letterboxes, enjoyed postals, and attended events. She once even made a series of stamps for our NH school group, at the time, to find and learn about Letterboxing.

Roz was a kind, caring, beautiful soul, and she will be greatly missed.

Here is her obituary.
