I’ve built the model long long ago, but never visited the real thing. I’d love to join in if this turns into a group thing.

I'd take you up on this lovely offer if I lived closer. Our library loans out puzzles, games, and many other items listed as Weird, Odd, and Wonderful. Just a thought in case you need another way to donate and put the puzzles to good use.

did anyone see the new Progressive Insurance commercial? Two birds taking. One says to the other "which way is north?" The second bird points up with its wing!

Need help with box ID
Board: State: Connecticut
Feb 9, 2024 4:38am
Yesterday, while inspecting a trail I manage, I found a box out in the open, right next to the trail. Fortunately, the stamp had the AQ number on it. But when I looked it up, it came up as unauthorized, apparently because I let my premium account expire. So I have no way to see the clues and find out where the box is supposed to be, or contact the owner. The number is 356222 and the stamp says AMB #5 on the back. I put a piece of bark over it for the time being.

I’m a Premium member and also not authorized to see the clue.

I can meet most restrictions, and I got the Unauthorized message, too. It must be on a whitelist.

Yup, exactly. The box is currently in the "Unpublished" state. I mailed them to let them know, so they can publish it if they wish.

Thank you! There are some access issues with the trail because the local power company was replacing all their towers and they "closed" a trail crossing, although most people were ignoring the closure. Maybe the planter was waiting for the trail to reopen.

could it be a bonus box that can only be recorded if you first record the original? Who planted it?
Nathan Hale State Forest - Help identifying a box
Board: State: Connecticut
Feb 17, 2024 6:31am
I found what appears to be log pages (on Pfizer Public Affairs 6" x 8" paper) near the location of High Rock Andover (found intact). The pages were curled up in a non-zippered plastic bag. One of the entries refers to a Fluff jar which makes sense because the pages are curled up as if in such a container. The last stamp ins were in 2018 but there seems to be a gap since 2010. I don't think it is a geocache because I see familiar stamps that I have seen during my finds. I brought the pages home to dry out and try to find the box this belongs to.
Hoping someone has some insight of where these pages belong. Thanks.

Thanks for the suggestion but I don't think so. I emailed with the owner of that series because of the stamp I found on these log pages and she did not suggest so. Also, I have searched for these boxes (found 3) and was not near the location where these mystery pages were found.

Have you contacted people whose stamps you can identify that has a date to see what they found on that date?
