I've thought about having some made but I wasn't sure there was enough interest.

Sometime between Saturday and July 4th, there will be 15+ new letterboxes planted in southern Arkansas, plus a few in western MS.

Letterbox deserts should not exist. I am just doing my part to help end these atrocities. (Plus there are a lot of cool places to see.)

Me too! Isn't it time for some more letterboxing therapy, DS? Thank you Quiet Place. We look forward to the new plants.

My girls and I planted 28 letterboxes this past weekend along a path from just east of Texarkana to just over the Mississippi River at Greenville, MS. Most of the boxes were in Arkansas and nearly all of them were created specifically for the location where they were planted. A lot of work (and love) went into them, so I hope they will see some finders eventually (if not soon).

One of the boxes we found in southern AR (one of the only ones south of Texarkana) had been planted in 2010 and we were the first finders. I am hoping this new "trail" we planted will bring more people to it.

Also, planting all of these and finding 5 others was all done in a single weekend driving from north of Dallas, TX. We even had time to visit at a few museums and nice restaurants. Have I convinced anyone to come find these yet? ;-)

We didn't have time to stop and you listed them as we drove right on by...

Maybe one day we will be able to return and find them.

Going to be in the area the middle of next week. Wanted to get over to the casino for a little fun.
I’m bringing a couple of plants but I would like to find a box in Arkansas and I really don’t see any nearby. Can anyone who knows the area point me in the right direction for some that’s within 10 -15 miles? Thanks,

Hi, DeeCee! It's probably a bit further than you wanted, but check out box #63407 at Caldwell, AR. I think that's the nearest box to West Memphis I've found in Arkansas, and it might still be there.

I saw the last thread ended in 2017 and were about the lack of boxes in southern AR. Are there any between West Memphis and Little Rock that are active? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I came to this board looking for people in Arkansas to see that no one has even posted on this board in about nineteen months. Now my question is, are there any letterboxers in Arkansas? More specifically, is anybody in the Little Rock area?

Is that all? Wow. Thank you for sharing. Two of them are in the Little Rock area. They have not logged on since last year, yet I am going to send them an AQ emails in the hopes that they have their AQ mail set to go to their personal email. 👍

I found 2 boxes in Arkansas in 2019. both are still listed as active and were last found in 2022. They are AQ # 283328 and 283352. The owner of these boxes is from TN not AR but she might be able to help you with AR.

I live in Northwest Arkansas and have enjoyed finding some in this area. Look in Rogers, Bentonville, and Fayetteville.

We just started a month or so ago and are in Little Rock. We’ve found a few in the cemeteries, but have struck out on a couple others.

I am meeting with a friend from the area in about a month, and she wants to learn about letterboxing. I thought that it would be neat if I could find some local boxers to whom I could introduce her. Maybe if more people start boxing in the area, the hobby will grow. 🙂

By the way, is your trail name a play on the outlaw?
