Thanks, everyone. I probably won't get in any more fall 'boxing, my dad and step-mom are preparing to drive out and move in with me until they can find a house of their own. So you may get to meet my dad in the spring because he'll probably come with me.

If you don't follow me on Facebook, be assured that they are OK. They escaped the fire with 3 of 4 cats, but it was a terrifying experience. They are staying with friends in Chico and are planning to start their drive here on Sunday, Monday or Tuesday. Their home was totally destroyed, but they are actually grateful because the place they lived (a small canyon with a creek) is not "paradise" anymore. They can't rebuild in that location because current building code will not let them build right next to the creek (and there is not any other space). I am glad to have them closer to me so that I can help more as they get older. They are actually in pretty good spirits and are finding plenty of silver lining in this smoky cloud. They are fortunate to have their lives, a place to live, and insurance and savings.
