Ditto, a fabulous event for such a worthwhile cause!! Think of all the smiles, sounds of happiness and joy coming from excited children on Christmas morning!!! We should all take a small measure of pleasure for making this possible !! There are few things more magical than the wonder of Christmas in the eyes of a child.

Very fun and relaxing day. Spending time with friends and ink - what more can you ask for? Thanks to Happy Daze and Nittany for a successful event.

Ticket results - the boys had a great time - challenging to see who got the most... in the end, Ron won $10 and Christopher won $12... so the total was $24! But lots of fun for them!

Also - I added the last two mini presents so the count is correct now :)

Please explain 10 plus 12 equals 24?

oh yes. Nittany and company left just after we did and found it. They brought it with them to the cemetery where they were gong and Mud and I had just headed. Odd thing is that Mud got a text asking if she had a camo backpack and I said I did if someone wanted to borrow one. That is when I realized I didn't remember putting it in the car. I get by with a little (?) help from my friends.

Adding our Thanks to everyone who helped make this Letterboxer's Christmas "Toys for Tots" so special. The tables full of gifts brought many warm feelings on a cold and breezy day! Extra car blankets being put to good use as capes with hoods! Shivering & Laughter. Appreciation for the nimble lying on the cold ground trying to reach just a little further. Must remember to mention the delicious variety of hot and cold pot luck yumminess!! Old Friends and New Friends, hugs and cheerfulness! <3BB

Thanks again to everyone from us as well. It was a lot of fun and I think we're getting the feeling for the whole "event" thing now! Enjoyed getting to chat with some new folks, yet again. Loved to see all the toys, also, and the music playing ... I am so ready to start Christmasing!

Our event was a tremendous success. This was our 9th Letterboxers' Christmas Event. At this point, we have provided the children of Southern Maine with approximately 3,350 toys and other items to date.

We couldn't do this event if it would not be for you, Our Letterboxing friends and family members. It is YOU who make this event so successful.

Just so you are aware, we have requested to attend another Toys for Tots event on December 1 by our person who picks up all the donations.

So from our heart and home to all, let us be the first to say Merry Christmas!
