Honeymama and I have likely plans to come visit Joshua Tree National Park in February 2019. Just wondering if there are any letterboxers in that locale and, if that's true, if a mini meet could happen. :)

Well if it were to be a U2 themed event, I might just have to come out there (I have family in Long Beach anyway). I grew up in San Diego and spent lots of time in the Borrego desert, but have still never been to Joshua Tree.

I'm a brand-new letterboxer (haven't even been able to find a trad box yet, though I've tried), but I'm out in this area. I'm actually heading to JTNP this weekend and hoping to score my first find. Keep me posted; I could also drive out for a mini meet up!

Should be quite a few boxes just outside the NW corner of the park. From an event MrOspital had there a few years back. I could do a meet and greet on a weekend except 1st weekend in February. We are about 75 miles NW of the park in Apple Valley.
