My suggestion is a one click button to list all found in a series, instead of clicking each box in the series 20 times.

Personally, I don't think it's a major effort to go down the list and click each box in the series that was actually found. Having a "one-click" for the series seems too easy to click off, when actually, maybe not all the boxes were available, or some were skipped to save time, or passed by because someone else was busy stamping it, or the finder stopped short of completing the series, or whatever. It probably takes 6-8 seconds to click the boxes individually, instead of 1 second to 'click all' . . . not much of a savings for the trade-off in accuracy. IMHO

I would like to add support for this request as a planter of series. Often, people log finding the series and even leave a nice note, but they forget to check any of the boxes. I have to confess to doing that, as well. I think a one click option might help that situation.

I thought I was the only one who did that! I think I've even done it more than once........so I'm also adding my support for a one-click option for series.

What about if the default is that nothing is selected. Then if you try to submit something without even changing it to "note" you get a message about that. That way, in order to submit a log you will at least have to change something.

I'm not a fan of this idea only cause I've hosted an event and attended many.
It really frustrating when people check them all and I know for a fact that they did not find the box. As a planter and a hostess, I put a lot of effort into them being found. It's like cheating to me .
And yes I know this is a hobby and I should not worry, but I do.

Perhaps, once a finder clicks "Record Find" on the listing, the default should be that all the individual boxes in a series are already checked. You'd have the option to change the check to attempted or N/A as appropriate.

Or perhaps, if you click on "Record Find" and then try to close up without checking any boxes, AQ should remind you that you need to check boxes.

But if you click them all but did not find box 5 , then change box 5 to not found. You have then clicked twice for a 20 box series instead of clicking 20 times.
