I would love to see some too. We are going camping there in August and would love to grab some boxes. And introduce my fellow campers to boxing!!

I know there are a few in Geneseo (my alma matre!) and a couple in the outlying areas but not a whole lot. Geneseo is about a 20 min drive north I think. Try searching under that.

I see alot of postings on this board for boxes to be planted or are planted in State Parks in NY. Have they lifted the permit thing on that? I know that boxes needed a permit to be placed in a State Park...if you wanted to do it the law abiding way. : ) Or at the very least get the park ranger in on "your little secret". And is AQ supporting them?

I'm not saying you couldn't plant a box in a State Park...just that there may be consequences involved if it's discovered and didn't have the proper "authorization". I wouldn't want to see any vacationers trying to get some boxes into an area that had few to get into some trouble later on. And I certainly don't want to see AQ get into any trouble for hosting those kind of clues.

But if this is incorrect, could someone let me know? Cuz I've got a great State Park near me that could use a box or two! :)

Am i the only one who believe posts like this totally ruin the Plausible Denibility defense?
I understand the good intent but I much prefer the don't ask don't tell route.

I completely understand! I was just speaking for myself! I may be more of a rebel then most. I would rather not know that so that if I ever was confronted by a ranger I could honestly say I didn't know. Others may like to know ahead of time!

I wish we had more time (it was a last minute idea to go camping there for the weekend) because I would have carved something to plant there ... what a beautiful place!
Woodsong, Crazyolis, we hope you have a great time when you go!

Box on,
