Bozeman!

Hello Montana boxers, and greetings from New Hampshire! I will be visiting the Bozeman area (primarily, but will be sightseeing all around Montana, South Dakota, and Yellowstone) during the last week of June this year and would LOVE to do some letterboxing. Unfortunately, when I do a search right now there isn't much that's coming up. So I implore you, I beg you, please oh please plant some letterboxes for me to find! I'll be with my parents and having the ability to letterbox will make the trip so much better for me! I love my parents but they drive me crazy sometimes (and really, whose do not? :D). Plus if we have the option of going to, say, one place with a letterbox and one without, it would be great to know which has a LB so I can sway them toward that option! :) Thank you everyone!

P.S. Please feel free to send me a message when/if you plant a box there! :)

You might want to check LbNA as well as AQ. Along with the Montana LBs we have several in Cody, Wy too. These are basically orphaned as we planted them on vacations.

The Montana boxes are; Lewis and Clark Caverns, On the Trail, Sacajewea's Brother, Lake Mary Ronan, and Chief Cliff.

If I can get to those boxes, are there any that need first aid? I always make sure to bring extra baggies along, but I'll try to pack some extra log books too, just in case. :)

We haven't had any reports that they need first aid. Montana and Wyoming boxes don't get a lot of traffic, but if you find that any of ours need something please give it a go.

Thanking you in advance.

How cool to finally see some traffic on the Montana board! :)

My parents also live in Montana, about an hour south of Missoula. Missoula has a fair number of boxes, if you can get out that way. Sadly, I will miss you, I'm not heading out that way until the end of July. There's a gathering in Idaho in July, which should be fun.

Some new ones have been planted recently in Ravalli County by Wind Wolf, but I'm not sure about the Bozeman area. If you ge to Hamilton, I recommend the Blodgett Canyon Overlook Trail boxes (a nice hike as well as nice boxes), and Chocolate Moose, which is just cute. :)

Have fun!

When I have a chance, I'll have to post the proposed itinerary for the trip (my parents are big into the over-planning of vacations :D), that way if any of you are in any of those locations, you could possibly plant letterboxes for me to find if there aren't any there already? Nudge nudge, wink wink. :D
