390 Giants games, 152 sellouts, #44 at 1st base, #24 in centerfield, 3 Giants no-hitters, and… FINALLY one baseball.

Ha. Nice. I hope you didn't get tackled by some drunk guy behind you. People are vicious at those games. When we were kids, we always brought our gloves to Paw Sox games in the hopes of catching a ball, but our parents would not let us push, fight, etc over balls that didn't come right to us. When I finally got to see games at Comerica Park and Fenway Park as an adult, I was a little embarrassed for the adults who were literally pushing each other out of the way and grabbing balls out of each others hands. So silly.

Years ago when my daughter was 4 (now 30) I brought her to a Red Sox game. I know the game can be a little boring for a 4 year old so I told her is she ever wants to leave just say the word and we will go. In the fourth inning I got the word. After heading out we were walking down Lansdowne Street. I was still following the game because the Red Sox were up. As we were turning the corner by the Cask and Flagon heading towards Kenmore Square, I heard a roar from the crowd. So I looked up at the net above the Green Monster hoping to see a ball land softly there. As it turned out a ball came over the roof right towards us. It bounced in the street and after one hop on the hood of a parked car I fielded it cleanly. I was recording it on my VCR and I later learned it was a Tom Brunanski towering foul ball over the left field roof that I was fortunate enough to grab.
