Wanting to put a date on the calendar for next summers garden party. These are the 2 Saturdays I am looking at- July 8th or July 15th. Please weigh in on your preference.

I am planning a themed event- Mystical Garden Creatures. Think garden fairies, gnomes, mermaids....

I already have my first gnome- he is very handsome. I will send out a stamp request after the holidays.

I would not be able to go at all on the 15th, but I'm not sure how long I'd be able to stay on the 8th, so don't plan around me. I love the garden party!

15th is a family wedding, so that is out for me for sure, and the 8th is the day before Minion #1's BD, so that might be a family day as well. Bottom line, don't plan around me, either! Though I'm happy to carve for ya!

skootch and I will have to play it by Medicine Show ear. It all depends on that schedule, and if the fam decides to make us to a command performance, but I do doubt that happening.

Go for It! It sounds like a "fantastical" theme. Hoping I can make it on either date.

The date has been set! I look forward to seeing you all again next summer for our next garden party.

I am looking forward to seeing what wonderful beings inhabit my gardens next year.

A little feedback about the number of boxes- this year we had 60 boxes, was that to many to comfortably get done in the time allotted? Not that I'm locking the gate at 4, and I wouldn't let you finish up.

60 was
1) a fabulous amount to get in one day
2) a lot of work to find, stamp, replace in one day (even with youthful helpers)

I vote for fewer than 60 so that the day/stamping time feels a little more relaxed.

I had a lot of fun.

HOWEVER....

The pain and agony over replanting to permanent homes the leftovers did not seem worth it. I don't want to have fun at your months-long expense. Do what you feel is right, and know that we all appreciate the effort and think you are fabulous for doing it.
