I am hoping someone who lives on Cape Cod can help me out. I had a report yesterday that my box "We Love Arnold's" is a mess. My last report was in July and it was fine. Obviously, something went awry over the winter. It was my most found box and I am sad not to see all those siggy stamps. The last finder reported that the book was soaked, but the stamp was ok, also the lock and lock was not there. I am hoping a kind boxer who lives nearby can retrieve the book and stamp for me. I would like to send a new book and box and ask that they be replanted in the same location. If it is possible I would like to have the soggy book sent to me, I have had some success in drying out books for other boxers. I will pay the postage. The box is across from Arnold's in Eastham. I am about 8 hours away and due to family issues I won't be able to get to the Cape this summer. Thank you anyone who can help.

I am the one who found the box and was sad to see it in such a mess. To help whoever is going after this box; it is on the right side of the stone in the bushes. I had a hard time finding it as it is not where the clues lead. Let me know if I can be of any more help.

We were planning a day trip to the cape soon, possibly later this week if the weather warms up a bit. Once I know for sure I'll message you for details and I can try to rebuild and possibly relocate it for you so it won't get damaged again.

I would prefer not to relocate the box as it has been in place since 2012 with lots of finds and no problems. I suspect it was not properly closed by a finder who doesn't log in to AQ. It was in a lock and lock with two ziplocks, but apparently isn't anymore. I will be glad to send you a new lock and lock and logbook to replace what is there. It should be under the juniper to the right of KNOWLES marker, if I remember correctly.
