Oh gosh - the soul sisters box! I think I have some catching up to do!

Thanks to my wonderful new husband (we got married in July) I got back out on the trail today and found a letterbox for the first time in 5 years :-) He is Native American, so it did not take much persuading to get him out into the woods with me. My vision restricts me from doing any kind of letterboxing alone, so I am grateful, so very grateful, for this gentle man who has brought me back to the pastime I love so much.

Thank you! He watches me read the boards every day and look at clues and pine away at the breakfast table browsing nearby boxes ... which I have been doing every day for 5 years before I met him. I finally asked him to take me - and already we have been on 3 scouting missions looking for places to PLANT, not just find :-) You can take the girl out of the letterboxing, but you can't take letterboxing out of the girl!

Who's doing the carving?

I posted on Stamp Swap a while back but got no takers. This post of mine did. Janila is carving GIMME SHELTER, and dragonrider has carved LOVE BUGS and TUNNEL OF LOVE, so that's 3 to plant so far. I found a few of my own stamps that were mysteries/postals/personal travelers that I plan to plant as well. Right now I am researching at town hall the boundary lines of the vast tracts of undeveloped land around here. Some of it is mixed use despite the no trespassing signs :-)
