I don't think I would plant there either, instead close by. But if you really want to plant there you could always try a hidden in plain sight like a sprinkler head or electrical box. A magnetic key box can work wonders as well. I have one in a rusty old truck in a VERY busy intersection in Key West that has been there for YEARS. Once I thought it went missing and I replanted with an actual carve (was one of my first plants so it was a foam stamp, the shame!!) just to find that the original was tucked too high for those finders who thought it was missing. I had even confirmed the loss too, it was hidden that well!!

And that truck is quite the hide! Best part of planting in super busy areas like that, at least in my experience is people are so wrapped up in the busy-ness of it all they usually don't notice. Unless you're me and two guys driving by in a newer truck holler at you as you're bending over "lookin for the letterbox?" No idea who they were, either.
