For over a year now, my brother-in-law has really gotten into doing "escape rooms" and my wife and I have done a few with him and some friends. They are tons of fun. For those unfamiliar with the concept, you go to a place where they lock you in a room (or rooms) and give you an hour to figure out various puzzles and props in order to escape. The idea started in Japan, spread to Europe where it's huge, and is finally starting to really take off here in America.

Now, after months of planning and dealing with business and legal stuff, he has opened one of his own, and I just may have helped with some of the puzzles. I've already told a handful of boxers about it, but hesitated to make some big post on here. I didn't want to come off like I'm just soliciting business. But I think you all know I'm not like that, and I really think a lot of letterboxers would enjoy this stuff.

Check out the website and tell me what you think:

If you are one of the locals who might wanna come check it out, I worked out a deal. He had a 15% grand opening discount for September, but I got him to make a 50% discount just for letterboxers: promo code BOX50

Very cool! Is he promoting his business to corporate America? A lot of places have team-building activities/events for their employees.

Will you be planting a Letterbox close by? (Hint, hint) Maybe a Special K discount code inside the box? <G>

There is a show! I just watched on on TV recently. I don't remember the name of it or what channel it was on, but it was fun to watch two teams try to escape first.

Actually, it's a game show on the Science Channel called Race To Escape. Two teams compete in two identical rooms.

One was also featured on an episode of Big Bang Theory, the joke being that since they're geniuses, it only takes them like 10 minutes to get out.

I've been wanting to try one of these too! The one time a few of my friends and I thought we had our act together to finally go, the one in SF Japantown sold out 😕 ...My bro is visiting next month, maybe we'll give it another try!

Wish I was closer to LA so I could try your bro's Kelsung!
