Hi Rocky Mountain Boxers!

The Rocky Mountain STEAM Fest (science, tech, engineering, arts and making) is taking over the Boulder County Fairgounds (south Longmont in north-central Colorado), September 5 and 6 from 10am to 7pm. Tickets are only $5 for kids and $10 for adults through July 15.

It's all hands-on, and I think Letterboxing is a perfect example of hands-on making, writing (clues), and adventuring.

I'd love to have a special letterboxing event going on at the same time (I can even arrange discount tickets, or some free tickets). Would anyone be willing to create some special stamps and clues? And/or to have a booth at the event (I can make that happen for free), to talk about letterboxing (I know that's not what boxers do - we're typically pretty quiet about our "sport" - but this event is entirely dedicated to hands-on learning for kids of all ages, and letterboxing is such a nice fit).

Booth or no, would anyone like to create some fun special carves, or set-up a meet at the STEAM Fest?

You can email me at martha@makerboulder.com, or my LB trail name is Chica.

Thanks!
Chica
