So sorry to hear about calling it quits. Have, (with pleasure) found your series in Ithaca, and looked forward to them each year. Feeling as you do, at times, I have started looking into doing more gatherings instead. Of course being retired it is easier for me to do.

Not me. LOL. But probably someone who thinks it is impossible to stay quit from letterboxing.

I understand your feelings... but know that you don't need to throw in the towel for good. The neat places, the carvings, the clever boxes, and the laughs are always here and you can return to them whenever the inclination arises.

I do understand though, it is kind of stinkypoo when your favorite hobby is not something that you can do in your very own backyard.

We have gone a couple of years without boxing before and then came back, so there are options.

You will be missed Turkey Feathers but also welcomed back with open arms if/when you ever return.

I am very sad to hear this! I've not had the pleasure of finding any of your boxes but you were kind enough to carve two incredible stamps for me very recently. Not having your future artwork will be a significant loss to the letterboxing world. I do hope you don't give up entirely or that you come back after a break. I found all the (about 12) letterboxes in my area years and years ago, that's why I started becoming so active going to events out of state.

Thanks again for those stamps, they will be making their debut very soon!
