when I sent that first message about handmade books, I meant to post her bussiness card, (but I had temporarily misplaced it). I'll let everyone know if she contacts me with class info. these books were really special...

Hmmmm, I've been to many crafts shows and the like, and I've never come across "Mermaid Bindery" (!) That's very interesting.

Do you have a web url for her stuff? I'd be interested in seeing her work.

October 23rd and 24th at Orono, craft fair, crafter Joelle of Mermaid Bindery will be showing her beautiful handmade books. I bought two book necklaces, mine will hold wallet size photos of my beautiful children, one for me and one for my mom for X-mas. Anyway...

I saw somethind like that on HGTV on that crafters show. Maybe it was the same person. I think this person had used painted dominoes or something like that for the front and back covers.
