I am counting up only some of the wonderful things about letterboxing tonight! Feb 26th marked 1 year since my surgery on my ankle / foot. I am walking so much better with a little help from a new orthodotic. I remember that while my "toes were above my nose", my friend, MissMoon, took pity on me & sent me a wonderful surprise package. And then my friend Hyacinth came over nearly every day to help me for weeks.

This Fall a few AQ friends sent stamps to me that I hope to plant this Spring ( if we can ever find Spring here in NY). It should be a series to delight the finder!

Then over these last few days, an AQ friend has told me stories, harassed me, & amused me - it's been fun. Everyone needs someone to talk to when the transfers just won't transfer & you want to throw them out the door!

Yesterday was another surprise when I received a little token in the mail from Buzzkill. Then this morning I had a hoot of a conversation with said Buzzkill! With laughter on my lips, I set out to CT to meet Bungalow Boxer to learn a new stitch for binding logbooks. Whoever planned those CT roads is in trouble - that was not a pleasant journey! But Bungalow Boxer saved the day by being a generous & wise teacher, as well as a new friend.

This is only the beginning of the names that I could count, the fun I have had, the stamps I have found, & the fabulous places I have been. Here is to so much more to come!!

We will, we will, we will. Is that the series I think it is? I am looking forward to doing it. Yea!

I am so glad your foot is pretty much back to normal. Surgery is never fun, especially when it puts you in a chair and makes it so hard to get around. Good to know you are back on the trails.

Wait, you didn't have tears in your eyes after our conversation? Apparently I have failed in my mission to spread gloom throughout the land. I guess I'll have to try harder next time.

So glad to hear things are going so well for you. A few months ago I got a glimpse of a stamp you were working on as part of a series. Will definitely be over that way when you get to planting it.
