Anyone waiting til next Saturday to do these? I'm hoping for less snow and warmer temps

I was out on the trails for several hours today and it was beautiful. Patchy snow in Shelton, and I am deeply in love with my microspikes. I got so warm hiking I had to take off my coat and carry it. The trails were deserted (I hear the mall was packed). And no bugs!

I agree, hiking this time of year has its benefits!

I do STRONGLY suggest spikes or Yaktrax for the trail that my new boxes are on. It's EXTREMELY steep!
