Of course in VT, there might not be A/C in many houses.....so

Skyped with my hubby yesterday, he is back in Denmark now and said the temps reached high 70's!! He claimed he was so HOT there...I couldn't help myself when I told him where to stick it!! :o)

I talked to my mother last night. We are heading over to her house today for the weekend 4th of July get together. She tells me everything is all set for the bonfire!!! I tell her let's skip it since it's 150 degrees outside -- no one is going to want to sit around a BONFIRE!!!

She's such a creature of habit -- all things MUST be the same every year. I don't think I talked her out of the bonfire. And I have no doubt that she'll be carrying on about it all night if we don't have it. *sigh*

LOL...3 Gs and a G and I were just talking about how hot it is going to be for R manning the grill. Actually, we will have two grills going this year. I think that R will be letting others take turns manning the grill!

I'm just waiting for Owl Licks to come back from his volunteer job before we leave. He hasn't successfully gotten a paid job yet (interview on Tuesday -- cross your fingers!) so he has to at least do volunteer work. He drove the car for the first time by himself there today. It's not far -- at the Matthews Help Center.

From one reptile to another! The only reason I haven't been boxing this weekend was because I had to change a fuel pump in my truck and I've been helping my son work on his roof. The only thing I DON"T like about this weather is that Moose will turn our A/C up until you could hang meat in the house! I go from shorts and t-shirts to sweats!! Hoping to get out and box a bit today- hey I fixed the truck, I should be able to go somewhere, right??!!
