Whoo Hoo! Glad to hear that. We were very lucky that ours only flicked off for about a minute. Especially lucky since at the new place we have electric heat.

We're still out. I live in Middletown, CT, for those playing along in our home game. ;) It's OK, though. I'm at a friend's house right now. She let me take a hot shower, charge the phone and computer, and use her dryer. But I can't stay too long. I feel bad for the cat, home alone in the chilly house! Must get back to her soon.

I think the best thing we can all do right now is be patient with ourselves, with each other, and with the situation. In the grand scheme, it's not that big a deal... as long as we're safe, that's all that really matters.

We have been out since Saturday. We are at Lundy and Vicksters doing laundry. It's nice to hang out somewhere warm :-) They should have hidden some boxes around here to keep me busy!

ah, J E S S. that's awful. i wish i lived closer to all y'all; you could hang out at my house. . . of course, if i did, i wouldn't have power either. . .
thinking of all y'all down there. praying the power comes back soon. you've been hit with more than your fair share this year, what with Irene and all . . .

The crews are busy around here clearing snow and fixing wires. On the bright side we got some early cross country skiing in the other day. We figured what the heck if you can't beat em you may as well have some fun. For those of you without power you are in my thoughts and prayers.

Thanks tiggermama, your praying must have worked because our power went on shortly after you posted that message. :-)

Now you should probably pray for everybody else since you seem to have an "in" with higher
powers!

We lost power on Saturday evening and finally had it restored late Wednesday afteroon. Thankfully we had a generator installed last year since we tend to lose power all too often. That came in handy!!!

Awesome! We went three nights without a generator and one of my girls was sick. I'm glad that's over. My neighbors are still without power but most either have a generator or are staying with relatives or at hotels...now, I'm praying that there will be school tomorrow so that I can get back to business (**letterboxing ;-)

Public Schools are ON for tomorrow in Nashua. I also heard from a GS friend that St. Chris has power as of tonight. Don't know about school though for them.

My power just got turned on. Am I happy. Thanks to everyone who crossed their fingers or said prayers. And, of course, thanks to all the out of state workers who came in to do the actual labor.

Hope you get power back soon. We had less than 3 inches here in Portland, Maine. Had some branches down, but nothing major. Guess we were very lucky. I'm with tiggermama, I'd let you come to my house if I lived a bit closer.
