I'm guessing the complaints are coming from non-IE users. Every time I hear about a new headline font, it's on a different browser than Internet Explorer. I haven't ever seen a font change while using IE. Of course, it could be worse... Miss C's font makes her headline say a bad word.

Re-loaded AQ and it's back to normal now. Whew! Goodbye, eye strain!

I signed out of Google Chrome and then used IE to sign back in, that resolved the problem, when I went back to Chrome there it was again.

The difficult to read "shadowed font" is showing up on My Page for Recent Threads, Favorite Boards, that kind of thing. I'm using Firefox 5.0 and refreshing "My Page" doesn't change anything. :( It's difficult to read, but it's not stopping me from reading what I usually read here.

Okay, now that is really weird. IE doesn't support text shadows at all, so even if your browser is using cached CSS pages, you shouldn't be seeing a problem! What version of IE are you using? Is there else anyone using IE seeing the problem? I have IE9 installed and text shadows don't work at all on that, even when I use the compatibility mode--and that's the most recent version of IE I know about.

For the rest of you, click the REFRESH button! Unless someone says they clicked the refresh button--not just reloaded the page, but refreshed the page--and they're still seeing blurring text, I'm going to assume they haven't clicked the refresh button and I'll probably ignore their post. =)

But I'm very intrigued with IE showing blurry text--I want to know how you did that! I haven't been able to make it do that to save my life!

Its a Google Chrome issue, I refreshed and it went away!!

I'm using IE 7 and no shadows here.

It was the same in FF last night - much better today :)

Okay Ryan, I refresh the page and it helped. But why does it do that? I'm using Google Chrome and I got the blurry text. It just started doing that this month.

I'd like to weigh in and say that I hate the new font shadow choice - yuck! Sorry Ryan, but this gives me a headache. :-/

I hear ya! I may have been the first to complain :o) well......Ryan said "refresh the page. NOT reoad. refresh the page and that should make it go away." It worked for me, thank goodness.
