4 of the Seekers guests made it out of Hickory this morning....after a big breakfast at the hotel together. We conversed with Granny Butterfly and Coffee Mug this morning all the way north up I-77. The North Carolina part of I-40 between Hickory and Statesville was very marginal one lane each way and I-77 North to the Va state line was marginal one lane each way. Once you hit the state line the lanes opened up to 2 wide open lanes, each way, with no snow whatsoever on the lanes. Quite a pleasant and much needed surprise. So we are home and I assume that Granny and Coffee Mug are as well.
Thank you again Dina, Charlie and all those brave or dumb enough to make it to the MMT3. ;O) I will finish up my picture captions one of these days. Until next time,

I have heard from some of our Out of State Guests, with the "WE'RE HOME SAFE" message. Goofy Girl and her bunch, they were letterboxing on the way home... AND taking the southern LONGER way.... so I expect we'll hear from here later today.
Hornicorn decided to wait an extra day, so she bunked at our house last night and when I left for work this morning she was getting ready to head for home as soon as it warmed up a bit.
A few of the others were waiting til today too.
