Remember when you told me not to miss the Sunday Carvery in Princetown? It wasn't until we got there that I realized what you meant. I was intimidated to go to one at first, thinking that all these letterboxers gathered to "carve" on Sunday. I guess life in Dartmoor isn't "all about letterboxing". Well, I was with 2 vegetarians so couldn't enjoy grubbing down on roast beef and Yorkshire pudding in their presence knowing they might not find anything they could eat there. The local brews sure were good.

Bummer! The pub food in Dartmoor was the best! Huge oval platters piled high with meat, potatoes, veggies and everything swimming in gravy.
