...when you turn on Letterman and Robin Williams, the funniest guy alive, spends 20 minutes talking about his new heart valve and the surgery and you're NOT saying "BORRR-ING!"

I don't see how Robin Williams could ever be boring, even if he is being "serious." Come on, this man donned nylons, a wig and face mask and grandma heels to play the coolest nanny ever...gotta love him.

My point exactly! If I didn't know all that about him, there's no WAY I'dve sat through all that crap! LOL

Funny thing about RW, I like him in movies like "Patch" and "Centenial Man", but he's too frenetic for me when he's just being silly.
The surgery interview was, to me, sincere and funny.

The Robin Williams Interview on Inside the Actor's Studio was classic. If you haven't seen Inside the Actor's Studio, they do interviews about the work. No Tabloid stuff. So it really is fascinating. Robin was supposed to be explaining how to do comedy, how improvisation works and he took a Pashmina scarf from a girl on the front row and proceded to do a million different things with it, each funnier than the last!

Actors Studio with James Lipton is one of my favorite shows. I love the favorites section.
