Quote Oh, the planting opportunities that awaited me!

If you plant it, they will come

I exchanged receintly with TJMich. They showed me their collection of SpringChick stamps in their log book.

Don't know when I'll get a chance to get up to MI. But my boxing gear would be the first thing I'll pack.
Cool stamps!

Being from CT myself, I was amazed that letterboxing even existed. We went home last year on Spring Break, (from Fla), and my sister in-law said she was taking us letterboxing. We replied, "What's letterboxing?" She gave us two leather bound books and we headed out. OUT to places I went as a kid. The local swimming hole, the local park even a country store that sells the best grinders. We had such a great time! I was hooked! That night I went online and found letterboxes in CT and there was over 70 pages then I went to Florida, I was excited to see places I go to here all the time, Hillsboro St River Park for one, but at the same time bummed that there weren't that many at all, less than a whole page. I don't know how to make my own stamps but I do plan on planting boxes everywhere. Like someone else said, "plant it and they will come."
Look for my series, Historical Downtown and (you'll enoy) Pack 301, coming soon to a town near you.

oooh, can I come? I was born in CT, does that count?... :-)

Seriously, my own state (GA), or at least my county seems to have a smallish number of letterboxes. (At least in comparison to the number of geocaches, from whence I got hooked on this boxing thing.) However, all that tells me is that I've got some planting to do! Got plenty of ideas already - should keep me busy for many moons to come...
