So, any thoughts on the Oscars? Were you disappointed? Did it seem inevitable? Who did you want to win?? I thought Supersize Me should have won for Documentary!
I still need to see Aviator and Million-dollar Baby.

Hi Amanda!

I enjoyed the Oscars. It's the only awards show I try to watch every year. I especially enjoyed the musical numbers, Jamie Foxx's speech, that The Incredibles beat Shrek 2!!, that Dustin Hoffman had to whisper the winner into Barbara Streisand's ear since she forgot her glasses, and that most of the speeches were nice and short.

Million Dollar Baby is an awesome movie. I didn't see any of the other Oscar-nominated best picture movies, but I can tell you it deserved its accolades. The only bummer was that I hate boxing so I had to watch the boxing scenes between fingers covering my eyes. :-) But, I still loved the movie, even with the boxing theme, so that says something.

I'm happy that The Incredibles won best animated picture because I'm a big fan of Pixar. =) Anyhow, the original Shrek already won best animated picture a few years back--it wouldn't have seemed fair to have the sequel win again! Other than that, I didn't really care what happened. *shrug* I'm not really an Oscars kind of person. =)
