We're thinking about heading to the cape this weekend too. Anyone have recommendations for reasonably priced lodging in the mid cape area. We've heard there might be a box or two in the area.

We have stayed a couple times at the Gull Wing Suites. It's right in the heart of Screw country, has a pool and hot tubs, and a privacy wall in the room so the kids have their own area. It's also very reasonable at this time of year.

Yes, we have stayed at The Tidewater, The Mariner and The Cape Point (all located on Rte.28 in the box-laden West Yarmouth area) and enjoyed all three places. The Cape Point is a little more expensive than the other 2 but has a great breakfast cafe.

Which one was the one you stayed at the time we all met at Ardeos? I remember you were very pleased with that one.

The Tidewater, in the unit in the back. We had stayed in the units in the front before but definitely liked the back better (you don't have to go outside to get to the pool area).

Thanks for all the great Cape suggestions! We're heading out today. We decided to try the Posse's suggestion of the Gull Wing Suites, because when your traveling with kids - suites are, well... sweet. I think a small forest was lost with all the paper we used to print clues. A PDA is starting to sound like a much "greener" solution. Just can't get my head around carrying a high tech gadget in the woods instead of that nice homey piece of paper. Guess we're just a little too old school.

That doesn't surprise me with all the boxes here! :-)

wdqt is hoping to catch up with Chunna (and possibly some other CC boxers) shortly after our keeper's game ends at 2:00... We don't have plans to catch up with MP this trip, though he knows how to get a hold of us ....

hope to see you down there, though we're really just blitzing it...
