I know that Fudrick was one of the original letterboxers in Washington, but does anyone know if he/she is still around? I have my eye on a park to plant a couple of boxes but there are two of Fudrick's boxes there. I've heard that they've been MIA for a long time. It's a small park and I don't want to step on anyone's toes. I don't have any idea how to contact Fudrick to ask if they're still alive, going to be replaced, or gone for good. Any ideas?

Hey Fudrick!
Your box in Glenn Nelson park might be mia....I belive they have done alot of additions to the park since you planted it (ball fields, new paved trails etc)
Hope to see you on the trail soon!
(maybe the Spring Flinger??)

Woo Hoo, Fudrick! It's great to see you back online again! It's been WAY TOO long. Can't wait to see where your imagination leads us next. I still have an LB gift for you--just running out of time before we move to get it 'situated'. By the way, we checked on your Spectacles the other day and it was still alive & well!

Actually Ryan and I got the Glenn Hanson/Nelson Box just before we left for Dartmoor (March 12-13??) The log book is pretty waterlogged, but it was alive! And I am not sure if it still matches the clues...since I knew where it was from an earlier visit, we walked right to it.

Welcome back Fudrick! I've seen your stamps in logs, but never had the pleasure to meet you.

Should we announce the Spring Fling on the LbPNW list? I know there are some people that might want to come, but may not read Atlas Quest.

Fudrick,
Thanks for the reply. Glad to hear you're back. I've enjoyed your boxes too. I'll go ahead and plant at Kenneydell when I get a chance. Hope you decide to come to the Spring Flinger. It should be great fun!

Have fun at the Spring Flinger! We sooooo much want to be able to join you there but can't. Thanks to cheap rather inflexible travelocity tickets and unfortunate timing THE only reason we're going to Korea tomorrow IS actually in DC this entire next week--so not only will we miss the big letterboxing gathering that's practically in our own backyard but we also don't get to enjoy the 6 extra days of 'family time' which was the very reason we're flying out tomorrow instead of next weekend to begin with. :( Ugh! Such is life when you live in the middle of chaos.

Have a great event with great weather and good luck in your letterboxing adventures around the region! Hopefully, we'll get to meet up with many of you before we actually depart the region for good in July. Take care,

We found your Haunted House letterbox yesterday (4/2/06) at Fort Stielacoom Park and it still had the logbook inside of it, though the logbook needs some attending as its a bit water logged and falling apart. Unfortunately, according to the logbook entry- a geo-cacher by the name of "Success for TM Eagle", swapped a dice necklace for the Boo stamp back in January 2006. I guess your Boo stamp is on its own adventure now.

I'm an occasional geocacher...but still.... I have NOTHING nice to say about that.

Yeah, that stinks. We found the box last year and it was such a happy find for us. I'm disappointed that it was swapped. I wonder if these geocacher's are aware of letterboxing, otherwise why would they do that?
