The best thing I've won was a hand crafted walking stick from Daytrippers54... My son's favorite was the hot dog cooker he won at Kites 😂😂😂

I LOVE RAFFLES! Raffles are great fun, and very helpful in defraying the cost of the event while still having participants feel like they are getting something out of it!

I like raffle items that are tied into the event theme - our Disney event had some absolutely amazing Disney items, including blankets/throws that were super popular! I think blankets/throws might be the best raffle item I've very won.

Since it's always in demand, I appreciate the pink stuff and juicy black ink in raffles! Or other letterboxing supplies. Not journals, though, because everyone tends to like to pick out their own style/size/binding/etc.

We had a few "IOU a hand carved stamp" from some popular carvers in the raffle - those were pretty neato and lots of folks seemed interested in them.

We had some mystery bags at a raffle that included stamps, LTCs, etc.

Pretty much whatever people wanted to bring/donate - we'll raffle it off!! ;)

I made a hand made fleece blanket that was related to the event theme, which happened to be Disney. People loved it!

At our last event someone made a couple of small scrapbooks, they were nice. Handmade log books are always a great choice.

On the flip side, I had our state LB patch embroidered onto various items (an apron, duffel bags, small backpack - really it could be anything) I have also sewn fleece blankets for a few raffles in the past.

For L&B I donated a hammock

Reading over the list made me sit and think what would I really like to get in a raffel. After some time I decided that it would be really nice to win a Jeep 4-wheel drive to get all of those off the beaten path boxes.

There are some boxes that even a Jeep won't get you to. I won't reveal where it is in Utah, but you can't get to I, Eevil in a Jeep. The closest you can drive can also be reached by a Geo Metro.
