Not sure what you are asking? if this is a guess, they are made in AQmail directly to me.

When I searched for that I got a few references to CCVC. I think that is what Neet is referring to. In that case it is a joke.

Are you accusing me of being a jokester with something as important as mystery postals? Could be possible.

The link makes more sense in regard to the post. But CCVC is clearly different than CVVC. Wouldn't be the first time I had a typo though. And of course some misspellings are a clue unto themselves.

All that being said, the clue as written does fit and of course some clues can lead to divergent paths. There is an alternate meaning to CVVC. Remember I am an educator. That might help narrow down that clue.

Guess this makes this Clue 4a.

Also best to ask these type of questions directly to me on AQmail so others don't see them on the board. It is good to see so many participating including several new ones.

Keep trying everyone!

If you are following this thread you will see my last post (message number 961542) which has some additional discussion of Clue 4. If that one stumped you check out my explanation (informally Clue 4a).

CLUE 5 = Patriots

But the search engine "auto-corrected".

Yes, I found that before you announced it here. I didn't want to give that information, but since you did I'll say it didn't help me, so far. I'm still guessing though, as you'll receive shortly.

1. Kilroy needed one. - How else would Kilroy have been in so many places? Although Isaac Asimov had him using a time machine in his short story "The Message". This also gave hope to those of you who are holding out for Pink Floyd to be the answer.
2. Needed by Willy and Joe - These are two cartoon characters from WWII. However, it is really spelled Willie. Willy is actually a brand of Jeep. Thought this was subtle but rather clever.
3. ubiquitous - You had it narrowed down to WWII so this fits for a Jeep
4. CVVC - This stands for consonant/vowel/vowel/consonant. Thought this would be the obvious one not a stumper.
5. Patriots - This is a Jeep model which my wife drives.
6. Compass was also helpful. Another Jeep model. Thought about continuing with All about Liberty and Needed a good Commander.
7. Go anywhere.... The start of a trademarked slogan by Jeep

My next guess on CVVC was the consonant/vowel thing.
Well that was fun. Thanks

I was honing in on Jeep, but using the plural of the model Patriot took me away from it. Sheesh.
