Clue tracker is easy to learn! I can understand if you're used to an app, getting to learn a new app..you would be hesitant. The creators of Clue Tracker are local to us here in Michigan, so we were all early adopters.

I don't know about box radar, but Clue Tracker lets you save all the boxes in an area so when you are out boxing, you don't need service to see the clues etc. and you just log your find right on your phone! super easy and convenient. You can also search either AQ or LbNA!
The Clue Tracker creators are also VERY responsive to any questions/suggestions you have.

Hi! Hope to see you again at one of the NC events. As Spartanfans said, the family who created are local to us Michiganders. They are really nice and can help you with it, too. I still have an Android, but used an old release of Clue Tracker when my friend gave me his iPhone. The app is really good. They have improved it with neat features since then. My cousin uses ClueTracker on her iPhone. She finds it easy to use. There is a message board for the app on here as well. They enjoy hearing feedback on it.

Good luck and hope your cell phone emits enough light in case we go nightboxing again without headlamps. =)

I use CT on my iPad. Love it. It's so easy to use IMHO. It's well worth the very small app cost and the developers are actively involved in keeping the app up to date. They are also letterboxers.

I like that I can save clues in advance, look them up on the road, get a compass with a single click, get GPS directions to the box (assuming you have the correct address), record a find then and there. Done, done, and done.

On my last trip I solely used the CT app and it worked well for me. Only had one issue and that turned out to be a WiFi provider problem.

Having used both, Clue Tracker is WAY better than Box Radar. It is constantly updated, whereas BR hasn't been updated in years and doesn't work with LbNA.
