Happy cake day, YQ! You have been so nice and helpful to me over the years from letterboxes to helping me out with a project for a class. I hope to see you one of these days.
For over the past 6 or 7 years, I had this idea for a little tribute that would be great for today. About a year ago, I was aiming to post it today, but writer's block and the fact that it is silly and cheesy (nothing wrong with that) are preventing me from posting the portion completed. So you make the call. Should I post it?

There are reasons why I have hesitated to post this:

It isn't complete.

I really don't care for the song I am parodying.

Heck, you might not like the song.

Finally, I didn't want to post this for the same reason I didn't want to post this back in 2010 or 11 or 12.... I guess I didn't want to be mocked. Some days I am better at taking some mocking. If you want to mock it though, go ahead.

I guess it is okay to post it like this and not on your cake day. It isn't perfect, but that's okay.

Well, Ypsi will have to speak for herself, of course, but I for one like it. And I don't much care for the original either, but "Ypsitucky Queen, you know who I mean," that's got a nice ring to it. I think I've got an earworm going now.
