As some of you may already know, Mystic Dreamer is no longer with us. I want to say she "passed away," but that sounds too peaceful and inaccurate. She was murdered. News link It's a terrible and senseless tragedy. She hasn't been active on AQ for awhile, but I do remember her cheerful and supportive posts as she had been quite active in the letterboxing community.

I added her to the tributes page for anyone who would like to leave a note or story about her.

I see that she has about a dozen letterboxes that are still listed as active or unknown. If anyone wants to adopt some of them, let me know. Preferably if you are close enough to check on them regularly. Most are near her home in Hood River, but also one in Roseburg, OR, and a couple in Pocatello, ID.

That is awful, Ryan. Thank you for posting the news. I did not know her but with her being a boxer, it is like losing a distant relative. I hope her children are being supported. :(

I saw this on FB last night I think. It's very upsetting to know that she was the victim of a senseless crime. Thinking of her family during this horrible situation. Thanks for letting us all know.

That's awful. I remember her from the LTC world. I learned a lot of techniques from her back then.

So very sad to lose such a creative and fun loving letterboxing friend. I remember when she, Poodle Dudes and Smiley climbed Mt Saint Helens in dresses on Mother's day 2010. All the planning ahead and even photos of their adventure can be seen...
