I actually see that one fairly frequently. So frequently in fact that i thought about making this for my signature:

There are 10 kinds of people in the world:
- Those who understand trinary
- Those who don't
- Those who didn't really get this joke when it was about binary

Use the Add Planted Letterbox feature on AQ. There is a box on one of the pages labeled: URL for Clue, I think.

Paste the URL for the LbNA listing into this box and save your addition. That'll do it.

The only one that I know of in Iredell (that I can say) is 4th creek cemetery. Is there others that I'm missing?

Dennis and Donna's Spongebob series is listed for Iredell, as well as Love Valley though that one seems to be missing.

That's right! I did just add the Spongebob series (too much frantic carving and planting on the brain this week, I guess).

Love Valley has been marked as missing for a long time so I left that one out.

I don't know of this box. Is it an Iredell county box I should put in the clue book? Love valley is missing as far as I know.

It's pretty interesting... picture this... a way old cemetery.... old rock wall surrounding it.... about 50 yards from a Food Lion/Walmart shopping center strip..... when i got there, i was standing in front of the Mr & Ms. Boone head stones (they are encased in a brick wall with two windows so that you can see the writing (what writing thats still discernable). They did that so the two headstones wouldn't fall or get knocked over. So I'm standing there thinking.. Daniel Boone stood here while he grieved his parents' deaths... I wonder if he looked up and around and thought "This would be a good place for a Wal-mart."

Who wouldn't be thinking this? Isn't every where a good place for a Walmart? (Looking side to side and twitching as I see Walmarts everywhere: the Galleria, the Arborteum, new one off 485 just past Providence...)

Someone emailed me asking about nightboxing on 10-22... since I only know of one box, Silverwing, that was designed to do at night.. (excellent stamp!) and another one that i did at night (even though it wasnt designed as such,), Go If You Dare was alot of fun (given the subjects of the box)...
Would anyone else like to comment, suggest or mention boxes that would be interesting to do at night that would be closer to the 10-22 gathering?

You could do Little Engine at night and DQ until the DQ closes (both very quick)

Go If you Dare would be excellent at night! Ooooo, think Children of the Corn! Very spooky!

Clues and maps will be in the clue book, however, due to the fact that "Go If You Dare" is a mystery I only have the map to Hopewell Church Rd and NOT the actual map of the location. This one is in a great spooky night location (it's eerie in the daylight! Think Children of the Corn) but it is in the country. This means that I recommend you solve it ahead of time and print maps of the area. You do not want to get lost out there-- if you go to the end of Hopewell Church where the bodies were found it is dark country woods that looks like something out of a horror movie even in the daylight (think Blair Witch).

Now that I have set your imaginations rolling.... Have fun!

This is actually a book of clues for the boxes in the Charlotte area. It's going to be distributed at the Tarheel Treasure Hunt gathering being held at McDowell Park there this weekend.

The Wolf Family is in charge of what goes in there but I'm pretty sure the idea is that it will be a resource for the boxers who are coming up for the weekend to help them find nearby boxes.

That's me! The clue book is for the Tarheel Treasure Hunt gathering so I listed all of the boxes in Mecklenburg county as well as some surrounding area boxes (Iredell, Cabarrus, York, Gaston, Union counties). The surrounding area boxes are for people who want to get in a few more just after the gathering or overnight Friday or Saturday night or on the way home.

The book has some word of mouth boxes in it as well and maps for all the listed areas. It also has a section for mystery boxes in any of these counties and personal traveler clues for those that are attending the gathering. It's quite thick already. Your new box is out of the area so I did not add it. If you are looking for some heavy activity to a box you plant you could leave one here. ;) Or bring a hitchhiker to swap out at the hostel here and take one back with you.

The books weren't free so I'm asking for a dollar or two donation if you take one, but I think you will find it well worth it.

well, how cool is that!! unfortunately i will not be able to come this weekend. There are not many days of ballplaying left for my kids before winter and we have plans for a tournament.

your clue book sounds like you have put incredible amounts of time and energy into them...i surely wish i could come...i think the book sounds like it is worth the trip...well that and at least one find...<wink>

i'm not really looking for "high traffic" to the boxes i have but find it very exciting (i guess because i am so new) to think that someone may come with plans to search out something i hid for them. it's awesome.

i do want to find lots of boxes but so far i am having so much fun hiding them, and making clues etc.

have fun this weekend!!

Ummm... (Raising hand) Me, me!! I'm planning to come out there just to find your boxes. I would have come last weekend but real life obligations got in the way.

Don't you hate when that happens? :-)

Take care,
