Father-in-law Breathing Difficulties
Board: Prayer and Healing

Hi,

Would appreciate prayers for my father-in-law John. He had bladder cancer surgery at the end of January. Subsequently developed blood clots in both lungs in early March. His breathing has continued to worsen and his doctors haven't been able to figure out why. We went to a different doctor/hospital today and the pulmonologist sent him right to the ER. He was admitted to ICU. I'm not thrilled that he is in ICU but am very happy that he finally has some doctors who seem interested in pursuing what is wrong with him. So....prayers for the doctors that they can figure out what is wrong; prayers for John that his breathing will improve and he won't need to go on a ventilator; prayers for his wife Donna for peace and strength.

Thanks!

Sending prayers your way.

My father has just finished chemo for his bladder / kidney cancer and mom is currently under treatment for lung cancer. I feel your pain and will add a few extra prayers for you and your family.

Thanks. They are having a good moment and plan on going to Dollywood on Monday. They figure they better go now before they get sicker. When they asked us to join them we couldn't say no. We are currently in virginia beach for a conference so Sunday will be a long day of driving.

The good new is I get to get letterboxes in 2 other states!!!!

I wanted to thank everyone for their prayers. My father-in-laws breathing improved for a short while and then got steadily worse. He went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday.

This has been particularly rough for his wife Donna, and also for my husband. They (and the rest of the family) could use prayers for peace and comfort in the days ahead.

Thanks once again.
