If you are just wanting the maps for AQ related use, the trip planner will work. I believe there are already some scenic, historic routes available. Do you have a list you would like to see mapped?

I want to see everything that is considered a "scenic route", because my themed series involves scenic routes and the more I know about, the more opportunities I have to plant.

I just mapped the Ohio River Scenic Byway in Indiana. Is this what you had in mind? It is set for premium members. I added the "scenicroute" to the keyword list. If this is what you are looking for, I will create more scenic routes identified on state maps, and tourism promotional materials.

That's great, but it looks like work! In VA and WV, it seems like almost every road is a designated scenic road. I was kinda hoping there was some existing mapping software that already had them all marked.

It is a bit of work, but I did it as a diversion. I've driven that route, before letterboxing, and I know there are boxes now along that route.

Thank you, tigs. And since you noticed, is there a scenic route in your state that needs mapping?

LOL- no, we have that covered. You can safely move on to other states first.

Although, anyone who wants to travel the BRP should definiely do some letterbox research first. The whole thing is a National Park. 'Nuff said
